Validated gang member wanted for rape, kidnapping, robbery arrested
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say a man wanted for kidnapping, rape and armed robbery in connection with a Nov. 22 incident on Litchfield Way is in custody.
According to a news release, US Marshals picked up Titus Nafis Lee, 19, shortly before 3 p.m. in Philadelphia.
Police say Lee, who they say is a validated gang member, entered the students’ apartment armed with a gun and violently assaulted them. They say he then forced the man and woman into their vehicle and made them drive around. A little while later Lee ordered them to pick up Treddia Sullivan, 27, on Market Street. The victims were forced to withdraw cash from an ATM and then returned home. Police say the female victim was sexually assaulted. Police say Lee robbed the apartment and then left.
