Police: Mini-van hits pedestrian on sidewalk at Mayfaire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY/StarNews) — A mini-van hit a pedestrian and a restaurant building at Mayfaire Town Center Sunday afternoon.

Wilmington Police said around 3 p.m. the red mini-van ran up over a curb, hitting a pedestrian on the sidewalk near Fox & Hound.

Witnesses said the van also hit the corner of the restaurant, according to our partners at the StarNews.

Police said fire and EMS responded to the scene, and the pedestrian was taken to the hospital. An officer said accident notes did not show any charges filed or anyone arrested.
