Investigation underway after break-in and vandalism at Laney High School

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Vandals broke into Laney High School’s field house over the weekend and left a lot of damage behind.

Schools Spokeswoman Valita Quattlebaum says someone used field paint to mark up furniture, the walls, and floors. They also did some minor damage to the coach’s office.

Quattlebaum says nothing appears to be stolen at this time. Laney staff is working with law enforcement as they investigate.
