Veterans and military ride Wave Transit for free this weekend

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Veterans and members of the military can catch a free ride on Wave Transit this weekend.

From Friday through Sunday, in honor of Veterans Day, retired and current military personnel can ride any route without paying the fare.

Up to two friends or family members can also ride for free.

You must have your valid ID, which can include your VA issued ID, former military ID, or driver license that indicates you’re a Veteran.
