Calabash VFW hosted dinner and music to honor WWII veterans
CALABASH, NC (WWAY) — VFW Calabash Post #7288 hosted a “World War II Tribute & Pearl Harbor Remembrance” dinner and music to honor WWII veterans from our area over the weekend.
The remembrance is the 76th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941. It has been 72 years since the end of WWII.
The post was honored to have the 28 WWII Veterans and four special guests attending. A total of 118 veterans and guests attended the dinner to honor these brave men and women.
