FIRST ON 3: Victim identified in Carolinian Inn murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police have released new information on the homicide in Wilmington from last night.

Police said Damiera James Tiesman, 36, was shot last night at the Carolinian Inn on Market Street several times. Damiera was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he later died. There have been no arrests.

A man was spotted in handcuffs at the scene of the crime, but police said that was for unrelated charges.
