Victim identified in Elizabethtown murder

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WWAY) — Elizabethtown Police have identified the man killed yesterday morning.

Police Chief Kip Hester said Robert Cole, 78, was killed, and officers found him with several cuts and bruises. Hester said Jonathan Bruce Parker, 44, is charged with first-degree murder.

Police said the two men lived in the same house on West Broad Street.
