Vote for Wilmington in the “Meet Me at the Park” campaign!

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A $20,000 grant is up for grabs and the City of Wilmington needs your help to win it!
The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is holding a “Meet Me at the Park” contest where the winner receives a $20,000 grant.  The campaign begins April 1st.

The City of Wilmington Parks & Recreation division is in the running.  You can vote every day(April 1-30) to nominate the city of your choice.  The city with the most nominations will get the grant for park improvements.
Those nominating a park will also be entered into a drawing for a tablet outfitted for the outdoors from NRPA.

This is the 3rd year the NRPA has partnered with The Walt Disney Company  to help revitalize parks across the country.
