VOTE 2010: NRA endorses Goolsby

The NRA has officially endorsed Thom Goolsby in his bid for the 9th District seat in the North Carolina Senate. Goolsby, a respected attorney and former Counsel to the Governor’s Crime Commission, pledged to do all in his power to ably represent the rights of all law-abiding North Carolinians to own and carry firearms.

Goolsby was excited to receive the endorsement. “As a former Marine Corps officer, I am aware of the unique nature of the Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution. When I am elected to the Senate, I will fight to protect the Second Amendment from all actions of those who would love to limit our freedoms.”

Goolsby is running against Democrat Jim Leutze in a competitive race in New Hanover County’s open seat in the North Carolina Senate.
