Wanted Pender man located in New York

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives from the Pender County Sheriff’s Office say a wanted man has been located in another state.

Deputies say Matthew Horrell was wanted for breaking into and stealing property belonging to Duke Energy electrical sub-stations in Pender County. They say Horrell was arrested at noon by the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office in New York.

Horrell will be held for extradition back to Pender County to face 23 felony charges, deputies said.
