WATCH D.O.G.S host first father & son pizza night

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Fathers and sons joined together tonight for pizza and a movie.

The WATCH D.O.G.S which stands for “Dad’s of Great Students” held the event at D.C. Virgo Prep school in Wilmington.

Organizers say the purpose of the event is to bring dads together and help them better provide leadership for the kids at the school.

Pastors at New Beginnings church teamed up with school leaders to make the program available to students and their dad’s.

They say they are looking for more fathers to step up.  Any dad of a male or female student at D.C. Virgo Prep is welcome to join.
