WATCH: Dollar General armed robbery suspect wanted
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office just released video of the suspect accused of robbing a store in Ash.
It happened around 10:00 p.m. Saturday at the Dollar General located at 2085 Longwood Road.
Deputies say the suspect showed a gun, demanded the clerk open and get money from the safe, and then wanted money from the register after the safe could not be opened.
The suspect then ran off.
The male suspect was wearing a black coat, a black shirt with “Myrtle Beach” on it, a black scarf and black pants. Detectives estimate the suspect is around six feet tall and weighed approximately 250 lbs.
No one got hurt.
