Water main break closes portion of Market Street

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Public Utility Authority crews are responding to a water main break in the center of Market Street between 20th and 21st streets Wednesday night.

CFPUA said because of the location of the repair, crews will close Market Street to drivers in the area and a detour will be established.

Wilmington Police are helping with traffic control.

CFPUA said a boil water advisory will likely be issued.
