Water slides coming to Carolina Beach summer

Get ready to slip and slide in Carolina Beach this summer. Last night the Town Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit for a water slide park.

A developer asked to set up the park at the corner of South Lake Park Blvd. and Hamlet Avenue.

Town Council ran out of time to decide whether to bring back carnival rides at the Boardwalk. It will discuss that at its next meeting March 23.
