Wave Transit bus, car crash near Eaton Elementary School

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies are on the scene where a Wave Transit bus and car crashed during the morning rush.

New Hanover County dispatchers said the call came in just after 7 a.m. in the 6700 block of Gordon Road near Eaton Elementary School.

Dispatch said there’s no word yet on injuries, but they don’t believe anyone was hurt. New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputies are directing traffic.
