Westin planned for Wilmington near Landfall

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – A Westin hotel is coming to Wilmington.

According to the Starwood Hotels and Resorts website, the Westin Wilmington is expected to open in 2021. The website says the hotel is planned for 347 Military Cutoff Road. That 10 acre property is currently listed as a pending sale for $8.5 million. The land is just past Mayfaire near Station Road.

Wilmington is not the only city in North Carolina that will see a Westin break ground.

The Starwood Hotels and Resorts website also shows Westin hotels are coming in Greensboro and Raleigh in 2019.
