WFD responds to boat fire at Bradley Creek Marina

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Fire crews responded to a boat fire at Bradley Creek Marina late Saturday.

Crews arrived to find a boat fully engulfed in flames. WFD crews say there was minor damage to nearby boats. One of the boat’s owners, April Jones, said it was a 37 foot cruisers yacht. They are not sure what happened.

Fire investigators have ruled the incident accidental, but have yet to determined a cause.

The boat was a total loss. No injuries were reported.
