WHA breaks ground on new housing project

Another affordable housing complex is coming to the Port City. The Wilmington Housing Authority broke ground today on New Brooklyn Homes at Robert Taylor Estates.

The environmentally-friendly complex is on 4th Street. It will feature 48 townhomes with back patios and a community center.

“I am genuinely excited about this project,” WHA’s Michael Krause said. “And that to me is really exciting.”

The project is expected to be finished around this time next year.
