Whiteville duo arrested on drug charges


COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man and woman who share a home on Sam Potts Highway in Whiteville face several drug charges.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office says Gregory Jason Nealy, 31,  was selling Alprazalam and Buprenorphine from the home. The date of the alleged crime is January 23.

Ashley Andrews, 34, is accused of selling Alprazalam and heroin on January 17.

Nealy faces several charges:

  • PWIMSD Schedule IV controlled substance
  • Sell/Deliver Schedule IV controlled substance
  • PWIMD Schedule III controlled substance
  • Sell/Deliver Schedule III controlled substance

Andrews faces several charges as well:

  • PWIMSD Schedule IV controlled substance
  • Sell/Deliver Schedule IV controlled substance
  • PWIMSD Heroin
  • Sell/Deliver Heroin

Nealy was booked in the Columbus County Detention Center under $200,000 bond. Andrews was placed under an $80,000 bond.
