Whiteville man accused of exposing himself to letter carrier

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — A Whiteville man is charged with indecent exposure after he allegedly exposed him to a letter carrier.

According to a news release from the Whiteville Police Department, they received a complaint from the Postmaster of the Whiteville Post Office that someone was exposing himself to a female letter carrier.

WPD detectives then conducted surveillance at the Spruce Street home of Ed Burleson, 44, where they saw him expose himself.

Burleson was arrested at his home. He was placed under a $5,000 bond.
