Whiteville Police investigating deadly shooting

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The Whiteville Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Monday.

Police say officers found Juwan Young, 22, at 808 N. Thompson Street around 12:30 a.m. with several gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Columbus Regional and then New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
