Widespread Panic packs the fans in during first concert

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– Widespread Panic did not disappoint during the first show at the Azalea Festival.

The Georgia band brought fans from all over the east coast to hear their unique American rock sound. The parking lot was standing room only with an estimate of a crowd in the thousands. Organizers don’t have an official count yet.

Widespread Panic plays again Saturday on the Azalea Concert Main Stage.
