Wilmington Athletic Club demolished for hospital parking

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Demolition on the former Wilmington Athletic Club started this weekend.

Back in December of last year the Wilmington Athletic Club closed its doors for good.

Now, the demolition of the WAC building has started for New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Once the building it demolished it will be used for additional parking for hospital employees.
