Wilmington-based Untappd ranks top 150 on Inc. 5000 list
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington-based company Untappd is now in some elite company.
Inc. Magazine has put it on a very exclusive list of successful companies.
It also took first place for businesses in North Carolina.
The app is used by thousands of businesses worldwide letting people rate and recommend beers at restaurants. Businesses can then pay to use that data.
“Just be in Wilmington and to be awarded something like that, based on all our hard work by the Untappd team and the support and community we’ve cultivated is really, really inspiring,” VP of Sales Brandon Walker said. “It definitely encourages to keep going, moving forward.”
Walker says they hope to roll out even more services and get more businesses on board with the app.
