Wilmington Boys Choir presents ‘Voices of Valor’
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Boys Choir is singing patriotic songs at it’s ‘Voices of Valor’ concert Friday.
Director Ronnie Wise says the boys have been working hard on old-fashioned Americana songs and songs with patriotic themes and they are “very excited to share them with the public.”
The boys in the choir are between the ages of 6 and 13 and come from varied backgrounds. The choir strives to instill principles of integrity, character, achievement and a strong work ethic in it’s members. It was founded in 1984 and has sung at places as diverse as Biltmore House and Westminster Abbey.
The concert Friday kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer at the Hannah Block Historic USO Building in downtown Wilmington. The concert follows the brief party.
