Wilmington Fire Department responds to house fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Fire Department responded to a house fire Monday night on Ann Street in Downtown Wilmington.

According to Battalion Chief Tim Smith the fire started in the kitchen before being contained in the attic. The woman inside was not hurt.

No word on damages at this time.
