Wilmington home prices continue to increase, report says

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — If you are in the market to sell or buy a home in Wilmington, be prepared for higher prices.

According to a report by CoreLogic, home prices in Wilmington rose by 3.1% in January compared with the same time last year. Home prices increases by 0.2% on a month-over-month basis compared with December 2015.

Nationally, home prices increased by 6.9% in January 2016 compared to January 2015, the report said. Some of the highest increases were seen in Colorado, Oregon and Washington that saw double-digit increases. Mississippi and Louisiana were the only states to not see home prices increase.
