Wilmington man charged with indecent liberties with a minor

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – A Wilmington man faces two felony counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Kevin Chodnicki this morning.

The sheriff’s office say two 13-year-old girls told their parents, who then notified the sheriff’s office.

According to arrest warrants, the offenses happened between January 1 and September 9.

Chodnicki is in the New Hanover County Detention Facility under a $500,000 bond.
