Wilmington man robbed at gunpoint

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint near the 1300 block of Audubon Blvd. around 3 AM Saturday.

Lt. Obie Blanton of the Wilmington Police Department says the victim was smoking outside of the Ramada Inn when 4 suspects in a grey Ford Focus offered him a ride. The victim got in the car and was robbed of $150 and two cell phones shortly after.

Police say a white male with a gun was driving the car, a black male and two white females were passengers. Police are still investigating.
