Wilmington passes $145 million budget

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Property taxes are going up in Wilmington. The Wilmington City Council unanimously approved a $145 million budget.

The budget includes a 1 cent property tax increase to 46 cents per $100 of assessed value. The budget begins July 1.

Employee raises are also included in this budget.
