Wilmington Police arrest two men for breaking and entering

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have arrested two men for breaking and entering after a traffic stop and foot chase.

According to a release from Wilmington Police Department, Carl Bryan Witherspoon, 24, and Jeffery Wayne Graham, 32, were arrested in the 4200 block of Holly Tree Rd. around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Officers were able to determine that both men were involved with recent vehicle break-ins.

Both were charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony narcotics charges.

Witherspoon was also charged with resisting officers and failure to appear on an outstanding warrant.

Graham was also charged with driving during revocation.

Both are being held at the New Hanover County Detention Center on $110,000 bonds.

Investigators are continuing to follow-up on additional vehicle break-ins.
