Wilmington police, firefighters hit the ice for good cause

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Officers with the Wilmington Police Department will face off against Wilmington Firefighters in the sixth annual Guns & Hoses Charity Ice Hockey Game, at 4:30 pm. this Saturday at the Wilmington Ice House.

All proceeds from the event go to the Carousel Center, a non-profit organization that aims to meet physical and emotional needs of child sexual abuse victims.

Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for ages 13-18. The event is free for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at any Wilmington fire station or at WPD headquarters, 651 Bess St.
