Wilmington police investigate shooting after multiple homes hit

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — ShotSpotter technology alerted Wilmington Police to shots fired in the 700 block of Nun Street around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

Officers found 30 shell casings on scene. Several homes on the block were hit and damaged.

There was a woman, 63, at home when her house was hit by one of the rounds of fire.

No one was injured. Wilmington Police are still investigating.
