Wilmington Police investigate third shooting of the day

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a third shooting that happened on January 15, 2024.
It happened just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and South 41st Street.
A Wilmington Police spokeswoman confirmed a shooting happened that resulted in a car crash.
WWAY crews on scene saw what appeared to be a bullet hole in a car.
Police said no one died from the incident.
Earlier Monday, police responded to shootings on North 30th Street and North 11th Street.
Three people were injured in the two earlier shootings and taken to Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate all three shootings.
