Wilmington Police investigating shooting that left one injured

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating following a shooting in Wilmington Monday afternoon.

WPD says it happened around 3:30 p.m. at 6th and Taylor streets.

One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
