Wilmington Police searching for driver after hit-and-run

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are searching for a driver after a hit-and-run left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay said the incident happened around 10 p.m. Saturday near the 6800 block of Market Street.

Lindsay said they are still searching for the driver, and the 47-year-old victim was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
