Wilmington Police seize 5,000 bindles of heroin, two men charged
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A four month long investigation resulted in the arrest of two men for trafficking heroin, according to a release from the Wilmington Police Department.
Police performed a traffic stop in the 600 block of N. College Road, where they seized 5,000 bindles of heroin.

Andrew Lige, 39, and Tony Sims, 52, are charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, possession with intent to sell, distribute heroin, and maintaining a vehicle.
A related search warrant for a home in the 500 block of S. Kerr Avenue resulted in the arrest of Anthony Kerrin,53, also of Wilmington.
He’s charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Officers seized a revolver at the home.
