Wilmington wins Old Navy grant, party

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington has won the Eastern Region for Old Navy’s Funnovation Nation Summer Party video contest, according to a news release from the Brigade Boys & Girls Club.

The Boys & Girls Club, which made the video, will get a $10,000 community grant. Wilmington will also host a Summer Party from Old Navy, which includes music, food, games and Old Navy prizes.

The Port City beat Washington, DC, to win the region based on on-line voting.
