Wilmington’s Municipal Golf Course ranked as one of the best

Wilmington’s Municipal Golf Course was rated the fiftieth best municipal golf course in the country. Muni, as it is commonly known, joins other notable courses like Torrey Pines and Bethpage Black.

Golfers say they like the location and good price, at less than $20 per 18 holes. “I just think it’s a good time for college students to come out here. Its right here near UNCW and that’s really what were doing. Just got a couple of guys for some good clean fun,” said golfer Trey Webb.

The courses were evaluated on ten criteria, including variety and how many memorable holes there are on the course.
