Wilmington City Council passes annexation policy

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– The Wilmington City Council effectively stripped away many limits to extending the city limits. Plenty of people in neighboring communities have made it clear they don’t want to be sucked into the city. In a unanimous vote tonight, council members approved a comprehensive annexation policy.
