Wilmington company offers great deals on gift certificates

PortCityDeals.com sells gift certificates to many businesses in town at half-price, or less, and if the business happens to go under, they’ll refund your money one hundred percent.

PortCityDeals.com has more than 30 businesses on board. You can find everything from restaurants and spas to martial arts lessons-for half price.

For example, you can get a Chili’s gift card valued at twenty dollars for only ten; or a one hundred dollar limo ride for fifty bucks; or buy a generic card for a friend good for any of the businesses on the site.

Pay online with a credit card, and you’ll receive a gift certificate in the mail in two to five days.

“In this economy, everybody’s looking for a deal, and our business helps people get the best deal and it also helps the businesses generate new customers and encourage repeat customers,” said co-founder Michael Rosander.

There’s a limited number of gift certificates offered to start, but those numbers are replenished every month. Each customer is allowed to buy one gift certificate per business every ninety days.
