IRS to help struggling taxpayers

WILMINGTON – The IRS is doing more to help folks having trouble meeting their tax obligations because of unemployment or other financial troubles.

The Wilmington IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center at 3340 Jaeckle Drive will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27. IRS staff will help taxpayers address economic hardship issues, make payment arrangements or get help claiming any of the special tax breaks in last year’s stimulus.
