Wilmington man steps down as chair of NC Alcoholic Beverage Commission
A Wilmington attorney is resigning from his position as chair of the NC Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Douglas Fox, whose law office is in downtown Wilmington, sent his letter of resignation to Governor Perdue yesterday.
The Governor demanded Fox’s resignation after he sent an email that showed an altered photo of a watermelon patch outside the White House.
The Governor said the image was offensive and unacceptable.
Fox had no comment when we called him today.
