Wilmington Police search for suspect in attempted ATM robbery

Wilmington Police are still searching for the second suspect wanted for breaking into a State Employees’ Credit Union.

Early Wednesday morning, officers saw two men break through the door of the ATM/drive-through building in the credit union parking lot.

Police found the first suspect, Gregory Adams, Jr., hiding near a building in the 4900 block of Randall Parkway. The second suspect is still on the loose.

Police said the men used a shovel and crowbar to try and pry the top of the ATM open. While causing extensive damage, they did not get any money.
