Wilmington River Group misses deadline again

The City of Wilmington may be looking for a new developer to build the convention center hotel.

Wilmington River Group, the developer of choice, had until Friday to come up with a one million dollar line of credit ensuring they could complete Hotel Indigo.

The group came up with a note, but it was not good enough for city attorney Tom Pollard, so they missed the deadline yet again.

A city spokeswoman said the council will discuss options for moving forward in October.
