Wilmington’s Connor Barth keeps roster spot with Tampa Bay Buccaneers
TAMPA,FL (WWAY) – NFL teams have to have their rosters reduced to 53 by September 3. Former Hoggard High School kicker Connor Barth was expected to make the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster. It turns out he did.
Barth is about to enter his fourth year in the NFL. He spent a portion of the 2008 season as the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs. He spent half of the 2009 season kicking for Tampa Bay. 2010 marked the first full year for the former UNC Tar Heel in the NFL. Barth was 23 for 28 on field goals in 2010 for Tampa Bay.
