Wilmington’s Freaker USA part of GMA’s ‘Deals & Steals’

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington business was featured again on ABC this morning.

Freaker USA was among consumer reporter Tory Johnson’s latest edition of “Deals & Steals” on Good Morning America.

Johnson raved about the unique drink insulators that come in a variety of designs, even if she misspoke and called the Port City “Wilmingham.”

The Wilmington-based company was featured among other Made in America products available at a big discount through GMA’s website, where you can get a Freaker for 50 percent off its normal $10 price.

Freaker USA founder Zach Crain also appeared on a 2012 episode of ABC’s “Shark Tank,” though the sharks did not bite on investing in the business.
