Wilmington’s Jermaine Jones makes the transition to Indoor Football League


WICHITA FALLS, TX (WWAY) — With former New Hanover football standout Jermaine Jones in the lineup the Wichita Falls Nighthawks beat the Spokane Empire on Monday night 101-36 in the first preseason game of the year for the Nighthawks. Jones scored two touchdowns in his Indoor Football League debut.

Jermaine Jones played college football at St. Augustine’s in Raleigh. The wide receiver spent time in the New York Jets rookie training camp in 2014.
