Woman accused of stabbing boyfriend

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man called 911 early Sunday morning after his girlfriend allegedly stabbed him.

Erica Fahey, 33, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Wilmington Police say Joshua Wamsley, 39, called 911 to report his girlfriend stabbed him during an argument.

Police responded to the 300 block of South 15th Street and administered first aid. After investigating, they arrested Fahey and they charged Wamsley with assault on a female.

Wamsley is also charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a controlled substance in prison/jail.
