Woman charged in church break-in

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies said they’ve charged a teenager with a recent church break-in.

Deputies said Trisha Ann Sessoms, 19, broke into the Butters Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon. They said she was trying to hide inside the church and was arrested.

Sessoms is facing charges including breaking and entering a place of worship and injury to real property. She was booked in jail under a $16,000 bond.
